About Us

Hello, my name is Amy L Rankl. I was born and raised in Wyoming. I now live in Cheyenne, Wyoming with my husband and two children. We Love Wyoming and are happy to to be making a life for ourselves and our children under the big beautiful blue skies, fresh air and far stretching plains of this wonderful state. My interests have always lead me to the arts. Ever since I was a small child I have enjoyed and needed to be creative. I've painted, drawn, crocheted, knitted, sewn clothes and quilted. While attending college, I worked in a small gallery that carried antique glass beads and started to collect them. Whenever I went on a trip I found myself looking for these small treasures everywhere. Now, I am one of those people that once I become interested in something I become nearly obsessed about finding out everything I can about it. While researching how these old beads were made, I stumbled across the information that there really were people still out there making them one by one. Each one was a tiny piece of art. I was intrigued. I found Cindy Jenkin's Book, "How Beads are Made" and bought it. I read this book at least a hundred times and anything else I could get my hands on for about a year and a half. For Christmas in 2001 my family encouraged me to go for it and order the necessary tools and supplies to try it. I ordered a Hot Head Torch, tools, glass rods and dove right in. 8 + years later, it is still my creative outlet of choice and I now have upgraded my torch twice and currently use a Bethlehem Pirahna Torch. I have a couple of retail stores that carry my handcrafted jewelry, I travel and go to regional shows and Festivals and sell my jewelry from my website and am able to spend more time with my family. Thank you for visiting my website. Please let me know if you have any ideas that would make navigating my website easier.
